HTML5 was originally proposed by Opera Software, a Norwegian software
company. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, the company was known for its
Opera family of web browsers that had more than 220 million users

standard through regular participation in W3C (World Wide Web
Consortium) which is the main organization that defines standards for
